NMapi + Tools

Available for download with our developer VM.
This virtual machine is designed to enable developers to easily start programming and testing implementations based on OpenMAPI.org.

It contains a setup of the following components:

  • OpenMAPI.org NMAPI server
  • VIPcom Conversations backend
  • Thunderbird E-Mail client
  • Mono runtime environment
  • Monodevelop IDE

The Thunderbird e-mail client connects to the VIPcom Conversations backend using the IMAP gateway of the OpenMAPI.org NMapi server.

NMapi - Maildir Provider

This is a simple local provider, based on MailDir.

There are no downloads available, yet.

NMapi - teamXchange/Conversations Provider

The Conversations (former: teamXchange) server is a Mapi-Server developed by VIPcom GmbH. It is currently not open source, however you can get a free Linux version for up to 5 users.

The OpenMapi.org provider is licensed under the LGPL.
